Homework:
Re-draft the poem you created after the free writing exercise earlier this week and adding/improving your favourite bits of language for homework last lesson.
Try to create something similar to the one we created in the lesson together (posted below if you need to check or want to post a comment about it)
It doesn’t have to be as long as Simon Mole’s but I would like it to be longer than Malika Booker’s.
Remember: You can have one word lines, you can have one long stanza (paragraph in a poem) or seperate ones (the different sections don't have to be linked.)
Challenge: Can you include similes and metaphors in yours?
Bring them in with you in your prep books- do not post them on here.
Due: Monday 7th Oct
Mr Brown
Can I do another poem cause I have not got a lot to write about or change any of the words?

Yeah sure Bailey.
DeleteIf you want to you can start the process again.....free writing, selecting your "golden nuggets", adding more to them and then improve/form those into a poem.
Alternatively you can just redraft what you have done so far, adding and improving.
Up to you Bailey. Any problems, come and see me in the office.
Mr Brown
